Before & After School Care

Trojan Extended Day

Lower School Trojan Extended Day, also called “TED,” provides a safe, creative, and positive before and after school environment for TVS students in grades K-4. TED time prioritizes play (indoors and outdoors), but also includes homework and snack time. Cynthia Davis, TED Program Coordinator, leads the caring extended care team.

TED occurs Monday through Friday in the TVS Dining Hall. Before school care runs from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. for K-4. After school care for Pre-K and Kindergarten students runs from 2:45 p.m. to no later than 6:15 p.m. After school care for grades 1-4 runs from 3:30 p.m. to no later than 6:15 p.m.

TED also provides full-day care options on many of the TVS school holidays.

Trojan Supervised Study (TSS)

Middle School Trojan Supervised Study, also called “TSS,” provides students in grades 5-8 with a safe, quiet, and structured environment to complete homework, study for assessments, and further develop organizational skills. Middle School teachers from varying subject areas provide both academic and organizational support with a small student to teacher ratio.

TSS occurs Monday through Friday in a Middle School classroom. Students report to the TSS location after school and remain there until they are picked up, no later than 5:45 pm.
