Global Initiatives Program
Connecting K-12 students and educators from around the world
The Global Initiatives Program at Trinity Valley School aims to prepare our students to become globally connected, conscientious leaders through virtual and in-person exchanges.
We want our students to become leaders by cultivating the essential global competencies and life skills of self-awareness, empathy, cross-cultural communication, and cross-cultural understanding.
Since the program's conception in 2011, our students and faculty have connected with students, educators, and others in Antarctica, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, the Bahamas, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, China, Cuba, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malta, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Peru, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the UK (including Scotland, Northern Ireland, and England), Vanuatu, Vietnam, and Zambia (59 nations/territories on all seven continents).
Ultimately, we aim to create a culture of dignity and empathy through virtual and in-person exchanges, a K-12 global education program, and faculty development and training in Global Education.
