Global Education Program
Connecting PK-12 students and educators from around the world
The TVS Global Education Program aims to prepare all our Lower, Middle, and Upper School students to become globally connected, conscientious students and leaders with a multicultural curriculum and virtual and in-person exchanges..
We want our students to become the best versions of themselves by cultivating the essential global/multicultural competencies of:
- self-awareness,
- empathy,
- cross-cultural communication, and
- cross-cultural understanding.
COVID-19 and Global Education: The rapid spread of COVID-19 across the globe has made cross-cultural communication and understanding even more important for our students. What has become a global pandemic will take a global solution. This year, especially, our Global Education Program will increase our Virtual Learning Exchanges with our partner schools and universities, and we will introduce Virtual Hosting Exchanges for all interested students (PreK-12) and their families to continue connecting TVS families with people across the world so we can continue to see the world through different lenses.
