Culture of Giving

“There has been an angel sitting on our shoulder,” Stephen Seleny, Trinity Valley School’s founding headmaster, recounts of various episodes in the School’s history. Through hardscrabble times in its early days, to the gift of the land on which the current campus sits, the School has prospered through the beneficence of those who believed in its mission.

TVS is most grateful to the ongoing support of parents, grandparents, faculty/staff, alumni, and countless friends throughout the Fort Worth community and beyond. Through their gifts of time, hard work, and financial resources, the Trinity Valley legacy prospers and expands. The short- and long-term benefits of giving to TVS are countless and impactful. With 100 percent giving participation from the School’s faculty and staff, Board of Trustees, and Alumni Board, and 90 percent parent participation, Trinity Valley School makes a powerful statement to potential donors.

The School’s Endowment and its Annual Giving campaign anchor the opportunities for contributing. Planned giving through the Stephen Seleny Society is the choice of some donors; others wish to honor or memorialize loved ones through the school. The options for giving are unlimited. TVS is delighted to work with donors to make their desires a reality.

Trinity Valley School seeks to be the best possible steward of its gifts. Students and faculty alike benefit from the wise management and thoughtful allocation of funds. From arts and academics to athletics and experiential education, all aspects of the School are impacted by the generosity of donors. Faculty advancement, facility innovation, and future needs are all factors in the disbursement of resources.

The School embodies many aspects of giving: canned food drives, tutoring low-income students, and community service are but a few of the myriad ways TVS students share their time and gifts with the world. Trinity Valley students understand that they are responsible for sharing their gifts and good fortune, and by doing so, they develop habits of character that enhance their lives and the lives of those they encounter.  Serving others provides unparalleled perspective.

Giving to Trinity Valley School is a wise investment in the future of Fort Worth and the world at large. Please contact the School for more information on becoming a part of the giving legacy.
