During this time of virtual learning, along with our curriculum studies, Pre-K has gone on an adventure!
Equipped with personalized passports, JumpPup (our literacy puppy) has taken us to eight different countries. After locating each country on the map and affixing the country stamp in their passport, students were ready to hear what JumpPup learned on his journey. At each country we learned their customary greeting and learned about their seasonal traditions.
JumpPup finally arrived back home to America on Thursday. So, after school on Friday and many days of preparation, the pre-k team made a special, surprise delivery to each student's home. In keeping with TVS safety protocols, the team did not visit, merely left souvenir surprises from JumpPup on the students' porches. This was a fun way to wrap up JumpPup's travels by sharing the customary treat they had learned of from each country.
