- We will cancel the remainder of in-person Xplore sports and enrichment camps that were scheduled for indoor spaces July 20-31. Some of these camps are fully cancelled, and select camps/classes will be modified to a virtual format. Virtual options will be presented to families no later than Friday, July 17.
- The Trojan Prep strength and conditioning program for Middle School, scheduled to continue July 20-23, is also cancelled in part due to weather conditions in the afternoons and recent increased humidity levels.
- The Trojan Power strength and conditioning sessions for Upper School will continue in the mornings July 20-23 and will occur completely outdoors. Additional protocols will be mandatory, and a separate reminder email about start times, mask requirements, and procedures will be sent to participants prior to Monday
While these decisions, like others made this summer, are difficult, they are made with respect to the continued spread of COVID-19 in our community and state, and the recommended guidance of authorities. We must do our part to contribute to the bigger picture, which is focused on a safe and healthy start to the fall academic semester and the well-being of the greater community.
In addition to keeping the Xplore community healthy, our goal from the beginning was to host as many in-person weeks of camp as possible. We are proud of the five successful Xplore summer weeks that did occur! THANK YOU for being a part of this extraordinary time with us. Your trust, flexibility, and understanding were invaluable to this success. Much joy was present during this short summer season! We look forward to 2021 with hope for some normalcy and excitement for the fun and friendship anticipated.
