THANKING OUR ANNUAL DONORS
The 1959 Club was established to honor donors who have given to TVS for five consecutive years or longer, regardless of the gift level. Members will be recognized in the annual report. The club’s intent is to honor the commitment of all those who keep TVS in their circle of giving year after year.
RECOGNIZING MAJOR GIFTS TO TVS
The Astra Society was established to honor those donors who contribute $5,000 or more in a given fiscal year. These gifts are unique, new donations each year. Astra Society members will be recognized in the annual report and will be honored each year at an intimate dinner gathering with the Head of School.
PHILANTHROPIC BENEFIT* DONORS
The Underwriters' Club was established in the spring of 2005 to recognize a special group of philanthropic benefit donors who make gifts to the school through the Annual Giving and/or Alumni Annual Fund campaigns. Those qualified for the Underwriters' Club include:
- Current parents who donate at a level equal to or greater than the Philanthropic Benefit for each of their children enrolled in TVS
- Donors who are not current parents and give $2,250 or more to the Annual Giving and/or Alumni Annual Fund campaigns
*The philanthropic benefit is determined each year by adding together the contributions made to the annual operating budget from the Endowment Fund and the prior year's Annual Fund and dividing such total by the number of students enrolled for one year.
Members of the Underwriters' Club are given special recognition in the Annual Report and the Trojan Voice magazine in recognition of their generosity and their commitment to Trinity Valley School.
The Benefactors' Society was established to recognize leadership donors who make gifts totaling $1,000 or more to Trinity Valley School during each fiscal year.
Members of the Benefactors' Society are given special recognition in the Annual Report. Benefactors' Society members meet once in the fall and once in the spring at events held in their honor.
...HONORING FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO HAVE MADE PLANNED GIFTS
In 1999, Trinity Valley School announced the formation of the Stephen Seleny Society, dedicated to honoring those “family members” who have remembered TVS in their estate plans. While the type and the size of the planned gifts vary, we honor the spirit of giving.
Although a planned gift may provide significant tax savings to the donor, the majority of planned gift decisions are made out of devotion and commitment to Trinity Valley School, irrespective of tax consequences.
There are many ways to make a planned gift to Trinity Valley School.
