Dear TVS Families,

"The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members." – Coretta Scott King

Thank you so much for the very warm welcome you have extended to me in my first few days on campus. I have looked forward to joining you for a long time and I am delighted to be here early to plan for the upcoming school year. This is an unusual first message to a school from a new head. However, these are unusual times.

The TVS community is the greatest strength of this wonderful school. The genuine affection that the families, faculty and staff have for one another is evident across campus and throughout Fort Worth. This bond helps us to be a part of something larger than ourselves.

Our national community is experiencing significant trauma. First, we faced a global pandemic with health and economic consequences that few of us ever imagined. Then, collectively, we witnessed the tragic and senseless death of George Floyd and so many others. We have been shaken.

Never has it been more apparent that we need to come together so that this trauma can be recognized, so that change can occur, so that ALL Americans can feel part of an equal, just, and peaceful society.

Trinity Valley School is committed to building an inclusive community on our campus and beyond.

We stand together and commit to courageous conversations about race and injustice. Let us lean into our motto Per Aspera Ad Astra- Through Difficulty to the Stars, so that we can build a better future for all.
