Health & Wellness
A comprehensive school health and wellness program addresses the physical, psychological, social, and emotional dimensions of health and teaches a range of developmental and wellness topics at each grade level. This periodically includes faculty- and parent-education sessions.
Incorporating health and wellness components into the Trinity Valley School curriculum promotes the efficient utilization of resources while supporting the TVS mission statement.
The following topics are presented in science classes, physical education classes, advisory groups, assemblies, regular classroom time, and by occasional guest speakers throughout a student’s TVS experience:
Health-related knowledge and skills
Diseases and hygiene
Mental and emotional health
Family life and health

Substance use and abuse
Fitness and exercise
Personal safety and self defense
