An anonymous donor will generously match 12 gifts or pledges at the $25,000 level this school year. And Campaign Chair Kim McGartland Medley will donate an additional $100,000 to the campaign if we receive 20 new gifts or pledges of $10,000 before December 31, 2014. Now is an especially great time to support the building campaign. Please contact Clare Pritchett Lorimer for more information. 817-321-0113.
There's nothing quite like standing in the drop-off circle on the first day of school. The faces of your children as they step out onto the curb make every ounce of planning for the year worth it. This morning they streamed out of their cars looking excited and nervous, hopeful and exuberant, sleepy and energetic. Every face made me smile.
As we begin the year, I want to take a moment to think about what defines life in our community. There are many schools across the country and around the world, but I have come to know after living and working here for five years, that there is something very special about TVS. Before we start, allow me to make a few observations about what defines us at our core.
